Dreaming of summer in winter? You could spend two weeks in Cuernavaca, Mexico during the summer of 2010 thanks to a scholarship from the Cemanahuac Educational Community. The Pacific Northwest Council for Languages (PNCFL) will select one Spanish teacher to attend Cemanahuac’s academic program of study of the Spanish language, Latin American studies, and culture.  To apply now, go to our PNCFL home page.


The dollar value of this award is approximately $1000.00, including tuition for two weeks, housing (double occupancy) with all meals, and one all-day field study trip. The scholarship recipient must cover other expenses including airfare, transfer to Cuernavaca (about $15 US each way), a textbook, and personal expenses. Because many sessions are offered throughout the summer, the recipient can come at any convenient time.
